Many hunters throughout the Mississippi and Illinois Rivers saw a push of birds this past weekend. Mallards are starting to show up in good numbers throughout the southern and western suburbs of Chicago. Rain is forecasted the next few days followed by more strong westerly winds and the potential for the first sight of snowflakes possibly by weekend and leading into the following week. This should again bring another round of fresh ducks and geese into northern Illinois.
